'old rose advisor' reference stated here refers to alfred colomb from lacharme, alfred colomb/ducher not being mentioned by dickerson.

Not in the 2-volume 2001 edition, but maybe in the 1-volume 1992 edition?

alfred jäger states in his 'rosenlexikon':
colomb, alfred (RH) cherpin or ducher; vivid pink, shaded carmine, large,double, cup shaped, thorns very long, foliage dull green, vigour 7/10

Thank you! We have added some more references: the colour range listed for the Ducher-rose is deep pink to cherry-red to crimson.
