Well reported on from around the country and most rate it quite highly especially in the northern regions. it appears to be a good garden red, healthy except for one report from Canterbury where they have found the rust a problem and have discarded as a consequence, blooms are large, but loose with few petals and make good full opens for showing. Many feel there are better reds to grow and the repeat of blooms could be improved. Understandably all the Waikato growers think it is just the greatest, one of them says it can be shown as a decorative, small stem, sometimes exhibition as well as full open, hows that for versatility!
