Bred by Benjamin R. Cant (1827-1900) (United Kingdom, 1926).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1929 as 'Lady Forteviot'.

Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  

Golden-yellow, apricot shading, lighter reverse.  Mild to strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  

Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  Glossy, bronze-green foliage.  

Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm).  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Dedicated to Margaret Elizabeth Holland (November 13, 1873 Montrose, Scotland - March 22, 1940 Galloway House, Garlieston), who on March 22, 1905 married John Alexander Dewar (June 6, 1856 - November 23, 1929), 1st Baron Forteviot as his second wife.
