Colour: light pink, bright. Fragrance: weak. "Émilie Verachter" is an obtention of Louis Parmentier, rose grower at Enghien. It was listed in the catalogue of the sale of his roses after his death, in 1847. We have not found it listed except in the catalogue of his friend Van Houtte (1851): there it is described as "vivid pink, shaded".
