This rose fades in a way I find very attractive. It seems much less black spot susceptible than its pernetiana descendants. It also repeats quickly and prolifically but individual flowers don't last long. Mount Macedon, VIC, Australia. 21 Mar 2020. Bud wood from HRIA collection at Rustons.

Same plant with creamier flowers after an incredibly cool and sodden spring, The foliage looks fabulous but you can see the black spot is just starting. I don't spray at all. 1Nov 2021, Mount Macedon, Australia. Budwood from Rustons.
