Double Brique Gallica. Breeder unknown, before 1842... Mentioned in Van Houtte's catalog of 1842, however Sangerhausen assigns it a date of 1830. Although the breeder is unknown, it's suggested that this rose was bred in the same country that Van Houtte came from -- Belgium.
