Discovered by Jan Böhm (Czechoslovakia (former), 1935).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. (Newark, NY) in 1950 as 'Blaze Improved'.

Climber, Floribunda, Cl., Hybrid Wichurana, Large-Flowered Climber.  
Bloom:
Scarlet - red.  Moderate fragrance.  Double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, climbing.  

Height: 12' to 15' (365 to 455cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 3b through 10b.  Can be used for cut flower, landscape or pillar.
