My country dancer (own root) has thrown up a 9’ cane.
Does anyone have experience with a climbing country dancer?

I’m propagating the shoot in case it is a climbing sport.

Thanks!

You well might have a climbing sport.

It happens.

I grew Country Dancer for years and it never produced a cane anywhere that large.

I'm currently watching a cane on 'Flamingo' that may be a climbing sport.

Thanks Robert!! I was hoping that might be the case. I’ll keep you posted.

Your climbing flamingo possibility sounds amazing!! such a beast of a rose already. I keep mine in a 15g pot to keep her in line, otherwise she eats the yard. When it was in the ground it was 6-8’ tall so a climbing version would be glorious!

Keep me posted on the progress.
