Ses églantines rose pâle écloses en début d’été sont rarement suivies de fruits. Rosier de collection plutôt que de jardin, cet hybride est parfois classé parmi les arbustes modernes. Book (1988) Page(s) 19. Includes photo(s). Rosa x coryana Hurst. This hybrid between R. roxburghii and probably, R. macrophylla was raised by Dr. C. C. Hurst at Cambridge Botanic Gardens in 1926, and named after Reginald Cory who made a large bequest to the garden. It makes a dense bush up to 2 m high, with smooth stems and very bristly pedicels and ovaries. Flowers produced in June and July, with little scent.

My plant grows 2.5 to 3 metres high and has cerise-pink single flowers with profuse yellow stamens. Beautiful fern-like foliage and blossoms in summer only. Attractive upright growth.
