This plant has gotten nearly unmanageably tall for me in my central Texas zone 9a garden.Have installed a trellis to train laterally as a climber. Will update in the spring. This rose is a slow bloomer for me in my zone in black alkaline clay. Usually my very last rose of spring to bloom. It’s on a totally different bloom cycle as many of my other roses. I would say I get about three bloom cycles from this one from April to Nov. very slow bloomer for me and rebloom. It’s been about three years in my garden planted bare root grafted.health is good. Very little if any blackspot.

Late June 2025. Very mild spring has brought out bright coral tones in PCdM’s beautiful ruffled blooms. Smells delicious—very fruity. Planted as a bare root, own root plant from Menagerie just 6 weeks ago. Taking off quickly with beautiful blooms.

Princesse Charlene is the medium pink in the middle. The lighter ones on the bottom are Kordes Bliss Parfuma. Also a great rose! The more golden one on the right is Star of the Republic.
