Paeonia suffruticosa, 'Peony Heaven Luminous Pink' tree peony $ 90
Notable characteristics: This is our own new variety, selected from our test beds for its luminous, clear pink blossoms and very vigorous growth. 

Cultivar group, hybridizer, year introduced: P. suffruticosa, open-pollinated seedling, Cricket Hill Garden, to be registered with APS 2024.
Growth habit and size at maturity (10 years old): Upright, reaches 6' tall and 5' wide.
Flower form and size: Semi-double to anemone, 6-7". Held well above the foliage.
Flower fragrance: Light, sweet.
Bloom time: Mid-season tree peony, blooms in our USDA zone 6a garden in the third week of May.
Zone hardiness: Proven is USDA zones 4-9.
Plant size: 1 year old grafted tree peonies have 1 woody stem, with offshoot buds, and a graft root. The plant may or may not have some of its own roots already developed. This one may bloom its first spring in the ground, or will wait until the second spring.
