Bred by F. Harmon Saville (1924-1997) (United States, 1996).
Introduced in United States by Nor' East Miniature Roses in 1997 as 'Behold'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
A clear, bright yellow, lighter reverse.  Beautiful exhibition flowers on long stems.  None to mild fragrance.  15 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, compact, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  

Height: 22" to 26" (55 to 65cm).  Width: up to 26" (up to 65cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 11.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Hardy.  benefits from winter protection in colder climates.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Behold is a must have for every garden that needs a bright spot of color. Beautifully exhibition formed flowers on long stems are set off by shiny medium green foliage. This plant is vigorous, upright, compact and hardy.
