Lyman D. Glasscock, R.F.D. 2, Elwood, Illinois, has presented the following variety for registration:
Edith Arbeiter (L. D. Glasscock, 1929). Named in honor of the president of the Joliet Floral and Garden Club. A Chinensis peony, full rose, pink and white combination. Blooming season late. Large bloom with round buds. Medium stiff, short stem; foliage medium dark dark green. Pleasant odor.
