1960 Bigger Peonies
The three following varieties are new for this year. We have a very small stock of each so cannot sell very many roots.
J. W. Bigger (88-55)
This is a grandchild of Primevere. Pure white, full double with broad well rounded petals that are symmetrically arranged. The form is excellent and blooms late. The forty-two inch stem is strong and upright with medium sized clean foliage.
This variety won the American Home Magazine Achievement Medal in Van Wert, Ohio, June 10, 1960. This medal is awarded to the best new seedling in the American Peony Society's National Show each year. Standard division "Net"...$25.00 each
