A large full double. Fragrant. One of the very best keepers of the late varieties. It is by all means the best late dark red, and every collector should have it. The following Peonies are seedlings raised by the late Mr. John Richardson of Dorchester, Mass., who was well known as a very skillful horticulturalist. The Peonies that he originated include some of the finest known varieties. Rubra Superba. Bright crimson carmine, uniform color throughout, large flower, erect, perfectly double, late. The only crimson variety in the Richardson seedlings. First Class Certificate of Merit, 1871. Extra. 75 cents.
