I tinkered with the Taylor photograph to improve contrast, brightness and hopefully to naturalise the colour etc.

From the Harold Taylor Collection courtesy of the California Revealed Repository. Slide 277. The text on their website reads in part: "Colorized photograph on a small glass panel depicting a pink rose bush. Tape on the side of the panel reads, "Souviner de Stella Gray. April 22/1917." This slide is assumed to be an original lantern slide autochrome created by Harold A. Taylor, a California photographer and longtime resident of Coronado." The photo on the original site is very high resolution and the file was too big to upload here without reducing.

1929 Petersen cover photo in colour. Undated catalogue. (Because of the reference to Hadley Cl. novelty 1929, I believe this catalogue may be from 1929.) Very confusing caption.
