I've been growing Moonstar for three years now and she's been wonderful in my z11 climate. Very heat tolerant, and never any powdery mildew. Strong fragrance and almost always in bloom. The only downside is that the blooms tend to stay on forever and look ugly after a while, but I don't mind deadheading regularly. Sets hips.

Thank you! Is 'Spicy' perhaps a sister seedling of 'Zauberhaft'?

I don’t think so as Spicy’s parental combination is coded as 3920, and Zauberhaft’s is 3921, they should be half siblings who share the same mother or father.
