Hi,
I tried to register to become a member, and a message was sent to me saying that Help Me Find " would e-mail me, but I have not received an e-mail to confirm that I am a member.

That can happen. Please go to your member page (click the orange MY HMF ACCOUNT button) and use the "Re-send confirmation email" button. You need to respond to the member confirmation email to complete your membership and have access to all the member features.
Please let us know how you make out.
