This is an absolutely marvelous rose. Huge purple/red/mauve blooms on long straight stems. Best of all it loves the heat even here in zone 8 Texas. It blooms in spurts all through the summer including 105 degree Augusts. The fragrance is second to none and I have 40 something other highly fragrant varieties to compare to. My plant is only three years old but is already 6 feet high and has been extremely vigorous and quite disease resistant.
