Josh........

Roses are outdoor plants. It takes a lot of TLC to care for a rose indoors in that generally it is almost impossible to give them the degree of light they need to thrive. This is true even when you place the plant in a sunny window. Also, you always have to be on guard for spider mite infestations and should wash the plant at least once a week. The rose should not sit in a saucer of water as roses do not like wet feet. Air circulation and more make it hard to succeed with roses indoors.

As for more than one color of rose on a plant, it depends on the rose, the amount of sunlight, temperature and more. The blooms on many roses will change color as they age on the bush. This gives the impression that the rose is putting out different colored blooms.

Smiles,

Lyn

Many mini roses to-day are propagated by putting 4 cuttings into a 4 inch pot. If the person planting them gets some mixed up, then there could be two different coloured roses in the same pot. These 4 cutting roses are usually more frail then the sturdy one cane mini roses.

Prayerfully hoping all's well....I have one simple request. The color of a Rose represents what? Red is.......? White is......? Yellow is......? Peach is......? Pink is......? etc, etc, etc. Is it better to send a Lady a single rose, a trio, a 1/2 dozen, dozen, or a more? Can you help me please? Thanks.....in advance. Your prompt assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

Red is Love
Light pink is Joy
Dark pink is Thankfulness
Coral is Desire
Purple or Lavender is Enchantment
Orange is Fascination
Yellow is Friendship
White is Innocence
12 roses is usually sent to impress but it can overwhelm a person. 6 is a polite amount. One single rose is far more personal and usually means a sincere interest in the person.
