Something is eating the leaves off my roses. First one small plant, then it moved over to another plant. It is eating some stems, but mainly leaves. I bought some insecticide that was supposed to be for catapillars, even though I haven't seen any, and the leaves are still disappearing. Any other thoughts?

Could it be a rabbit or a squirrel? If it is, try spraying the roses with a window cleaner at half strength as both hate the smell of ammonia.
