I use to have several Dr. Brownell roses and loved them. I have been searching for the Charlotte and have had no luck in finding any Dr. Brownell at all. Can someone help me.

To my knowledge, a red banksia doesn't exist. There is a pink form in commerce as 'Banksia rosea' which may or may not be Boursault's cultivar of 1824.

Please see the comments for the rose 'Red Ribbons ®'. It is often sold as "Lady Banks Red" although it is not a true banksia hybrid.

Thank you for the clarification - a confusing commercial name! In any case it is not a banksia, but a hybrid wichurana.
