The flowers smell like linseed oil plus something sweet. However I like the smell of linseed oil.;) In fact I seek out roses with this scent and would like still more. My plant came from Eurodesert Roses, June of 2011.

Rosa alabukensis is hardy in Canada zone 3. It has been growing at the Devonian Botanical Garden near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for several years.
