Origin:

Bred by Robert Neil Rippetoe (United States, 2005).
Introduced in United States by Roses Unlimited in 2007 as 'Callista'.

Class:

Shrub.

Bloom:

White, pink undertones. Strong, citrus fragrance. 26 to 40 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered, old-fashioned bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.

Habit:

Tall, bushy, spreading. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.

Height: 4' to 6' (120 to 185cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for cut flower, garden or shrub. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to disease, susceptible to blackspot , mildew resistant. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
