Bloom:
Pink. Strong, damask, spice fragrance. 26 to 40 petals. Average diameter 5". Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom. Long, pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Medium, upright, well-branched. Large, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height: up to 5½' (up to 165cm). Width: up to 39" (up to 100cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower, garden or landscape. Very vigorous. Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

No. 5,846)) with the variety `MACgenev` (U.S. Plant Pat. No. 8,279)....Observations made from January 2003 to August 2004 from plants commencing at three years of age grown in a garden environment at Somis, Calif.
