‘Bredon’/AUSbred: Arbuste… rose crème très doux, avivé d’abricot dans les profondeurs des pétales; à l’épanouissement l’abricot domine, puis pâlit peu à peu… fleurs moyennes au parfum fruité sont formées d’une multitude de menus pétales pliés, emboités les uns dans les autres en chiffonnade colorée. De végétation comparable à celle d’un floribunda buissonnant, cet arbuste à grandes feuilles vert franc fera bel effet parmi des vivaces qui masqueront sa base dégarnie. Buds are greenish white to start with, opening to creamy white with a bit of yellow and soft peach tones at the center... The name commemorates Bredon Hill, a site near the Austin nursery in Hereford and Worcester, which is referred to in "To an Athlete Dying Young," a poem by A.E. Housman...
