Origin:
Bred by F. Harmon Saville (1924-1997) (United States, before 1989).
Introduced in United States by Nor' East Miniature Roses in 1991 as 'American Rose Centennial'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Pink and white.  Creamy whited, edged soft pink.  None to mild, spice fragrance.  up to 50 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, exhibition, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact.  Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 15" to 18" (40 to 45cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 10b.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or exhibition.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
