For a HT I like this rose. Nice fragrance (lemony but not overly) and bloom form, has many of the usual issues HT's have here in Sydney though, petals tend to fry in summer, if it's humid flowers tend to ball, etc. It does well in early spring and fall though when the weather is far less harsh.

Despite no children listed for this rose, it is at least reluctantly fertile. It was in bloom at the nursery when I bought it, that single bloom set a hip and there has been germination....but it set no other hips in it's first season here, most HT's don't like setting hips for me though.

-edit- I spoke too soon, may just be the heat that was preventing hips, as have had no issue with hip set once the temps dropped a bit.

How has the disease resistance been in Sydney? I note one retailer rates it only 2/5 for health, but I'm hoping that it is better so that I can put it in my no-spray garden!

I don't spray, it survives, there are far worse out there.
Realistically it's unlikely for rose that's ancestry is just older Hybrid Tea's for generations is going to have great disease resistance.

Can anyone comment on how Fiona’s wish compares to Kronenburg? Especially fragrance wise?

In view of the code name MEIzules, being also used for 'Fiona's wish', and Australian nurseries using the 'Bolchoi' code, MEIzuzes for 'Fiona's Wish', it would appear 'Fiona's Wish' and 'Bolchoi' are the same rose. I propose to merge 'Fiona's Wish' and 'Bolchoi', unless anyone has any other knowledge.

Only Meilland could answer Your question, I think... But both roses look similar to me. I grow Bolchoï. With two dots on the ï.

Two different code names are mentioned in the references.
Modern Roses 12 are listing Meizules.
Australian Rose Annual 2001 (as well as Corporate Roses website) are listing MEIzuzes

Later edit. Helpmefind are listing Meizuzes as Bolchoi.
'Fiona's Wish' and 'Bolchoi' look similar roses to me.
