Introduced in France by Victor Verdier et fils in 1843 as 'Coelina'.
Introduced in Australia by Handasyde, McMillan & Co. in 1864 as 'Célina'.

Moss.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, crimson shading, purple shading.  Olive-green moss.  Mild fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:

Height: up to 4' (up to 120cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
