This plant is blooming on February 3, 2025 in a greenhouse at the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, USA. It was purchased in late October 2024 in Oklahoma at a retail outlet. This bloom has been open for several days and is past its prime. The blooms do have an attractive mild to medium fragrance. The petals have a thick, waxy substance which appears to make them very heavy when they have this many petals.
