I bought this rose as Baby Crimson - but it is definately a red - not a pink as described. It is grown in a spot that gets only morning sun - would that influence the color? Or is this perhaps a different rose?

The pictures under the listing certainly look red to me. Color designation of roses can be a tricky thing. Some which look deep pink to me are listed as Med Red, and vice versa. Color is sometimes in the eye of the beholder.

The rose your photos show is for sure Zwergkönig (that means dwarf King) from Kordes. There exists a second rose named Zwergkönigin (that means dwarf Queen), which is pink. Because of the small diffrence in the German names there is often some confusion with these two.

I just received a Sunrise Cupido Rose as a gift. It is approximately 6 inches tall. Can you tell me how high and how wide this rose bush will grow? I don't want to put it in a place that cannot accommodate its size. Thank you. My email is ebolton-pa@comcast.net

I have grown this mini rose in the garden for a few years in zone 5-6. It can grow to 24" easily by the end of the season after being pruned down in spring, and will get quite bushy as well. It is always covered in blooms, and they last very long on the bush, fading from an orange combination to pale pinkish. You will need to leave it some room to grow for sure.

The orange parade that I have grows much taller than 10" - as of today Oct. 4/05 it is a good 22" and still covered in blooms. I live in Kelowna, BC, Canada which is zone 5/6. This rose has been planted in the ground in this spot for 5 years.
