Hello,

My name is Steve Fritz. I live in eastern North Carolina and do some rose breeding.

I noticed your input on the HMF website and I was wondering if you were still actively growing roses?

Where can I find this rose for mail- or phone-order?

I bought this hybrid rugosa rose, along with Wildberry Breeze, at Lowe's of all places. It was beautiful and smelled amazing. Sadly, I lost that home and the roses along with it.

Does anyone know of a reputable nursery that sells this rose via mail- or phone-order? The nurseries listed here under Buy From are either retail only, or landscaping companies, or wholesale only -- NOT mail- or phone-order!

I appreciate that you have taken a picture of the whole plant, as there are many close-ups of the actual flower. The wide angle helps to see what kind of growth pattern Westerland has.

Thanks - I've actually added a couple more that show the whole plant. I've trained it around the column using screw-eyes and flexible tape-ties. It's still growing, so I will likely train it across the open spaces between columns and between column and front of house (using wire).
