Hume's Blush contender #2 was also found and photographed by Rod Hicks in a Sydney suburb. October, 2004. It appears to be less bushy and more open and spreading in its growth habit than Agnes Smith.

This Hume's Blush contender was found and photographed by Rod Hicks in a Sydney suburb. October, 2004. It is a very good match for the Redoute painting, and has the very long calyx lobes that are characteristic of the type. The rose has a typical Odorata growth habit.
