The Pakistan Mulberry is a very prolific fruiting tree and should provide you will delicious 3"-5" long raspberry-like fruit.
Mulberry trees are fast growing and can get quite large. The Pakistan Fruiting Mulberry can get up to 40-50 feet tall and 40-45 feet wide. We usually prune them to keep them half that size. Of you "bob" or pollard them as some do, you will not get much fruit and make an ugly tree in my opinion.

Call us at 559-732-9146 or email sales@lecooke.com and tell us where you live. I will have a sales person contact you with the closet retailers that received some Blue Tree Wisteria this winter. Thank you for your interest.

Do they have a website? I purchase two of their wisteria's from local nurseries and would like to know more about them. *** I dont remember what my question was because I posted it two years ago. Today's date in 3/8/05. Besides: The purple one is beautiful, but the white one appears to be dead. No blooming, dont know why. Guess I have to dig it up and buy another.***

If you find the website please let me know. I also have a question about my wisteria - The label is confusing. It appears to be a cross between a chinese and japanese wisteria so I'm baffled at what I got?

Who carries your lilac bushes? In So. Calif and central coast of Cal. We will be moving to Paso Robles in about 5 months.

We grow one of the widest selections of Lilacs in the industry. There are far too many sites in Southern California that carry lilacs to list here. Since you are moving to Paso Robles, that makes it easier to narrow down. It also gives you a wider choice of lilacs to chose from. In Southern California, most climates would limit you to the selection of mild climate Syringa hyacinthiflora or Descanso selections. Now that you are going to Paso Robles, all the range of lilacs will perform well. You will have enough winter chill to allow any selection to bloom to your enjoyment.
If you look on our web site at www.lecooke.com under the shrubs tab, you can see Acrobat PDF files of most all the lilacs we grow.
Three nurseries in the immediate Paso Robles area carry lilacs from the 2004 shipping season as well as a much larger choice as you continue further south down highway 101:
Hometown Nursery of Paso Robles 805-238-1976
Farm Supply on Paso Robles 805-543-3751
The Tree Man - 805-277-6225
Hope you have a successful move and enjoy your lilacs.
