Otago (pronounced oh-tah-goh, with emphasis on the middle syllable) is a large region in the southern part of New Zealand. It was a phonetic interpretation of the dialectical pronunciation by contemporary local Maori in the 1840s of the name of a prominent coastal settlement which, under standardised spelling, is now known on maps as Otakou.

Hello there. I am trying to return to HMF after a long absence. I was a premium member but that will have long since lapsed. I have signed in using my email address brickysworld@gmail.com and requested a new interim password which I have now signed in with, expecting to find my old account under the name Tomartyr. But I now appear as anonymous-4865881. I wish to access my old details such as member gardens, photographs, comments, favorites etc, but without success although I can still see evidence of some of my photos. I also wish to renew my premium membership. How can I do that, please? Kind regards, Keith Harris.

I believe the issue is that you used a different email address for Tomartyr.

This is a much larger plant than its HMF description suggests, in my garden at least, where I prune hard each year to keep it at about two metres high by six metres wide. It is the only one of my roses that I prune with the hedge shears. It does look ugly for a few weeks, but always bounces back with prolific new growth and copious blooming.
