DA says its parentage is 'Tuscany superb' , rather than 'Tuscany'.

Did you see my comment to your photo? Which edition of "English Roses" do you have? Can you please check pages 25, 26 and 91 of this book? Apparently, David Austin says there that the pollen parent is 'Tuscany'.

No official introduction of 'canary'. More pictures are available in www.baidu.com searching for '金丝雀月季'.

Thank you, checking various websites for '金丝雀月季'., I see that 'Canary' is described as a German cultivar from 1976. This would be Tantau's 'Canary' which is listed (TANcary). In that case it cannot be a sport of 'Baby Romantica' (2004).

That website is not professional and correct. The most accepted statement says Canary originated form baby romantica sports. Canary is very popular in China , many throwback cases could proof that . Here is an example of Canary throwback sport : tieba.baidu.com/p/6151602468#/

Several sites were checked, even those which mention Baby Romantica had 1976 as breeding year. We will check with Meilland
