I really wish George Mander was still producing this little beauty. She can be anywhere from orange and red, to yellow and pink as seen in the pictures. A beautiful little plant, I’d love a second one.

This rose is a massive plant. It grew to approximately 7.5 feet tall by the end of its second year. I trimmed off a couple feet to avoid winter wind damage. It seems to cluster with approximately 6-7 flowers per cluster. It’s an amazing growing plant as it’s almost double the size of other roses planted at the same time. Early in the year there is little to no scent, come mid August it just permeates anise scent throughout my yard. It appears to be completely disease resistant. If by some chance you see this rose and then check here, if you like apricot roses, wonderful scent, low maintenance, then scoop one up!

Brenda Viney
I have a really nice ‘Brenda Viney’ rose from Brad Jalberts select roses. I’d love to upload some pictures of it.

I tried to look it up on the Jalbert website (British Columbia), and got nowhere. Do you have more information about it - breeder, when released, class, colour?
