Based on my first-year experience, I wouldn’t be too afraid of a shady position. Mine did exceptionally well in Z6, despite perhaps only 6 hours of sun at mid-summer.

Palatina Muscosa
This is Palatine’s own hybridized Moss rose. Palatina Muscosa has romantic lavender/pink flowers with a silvery reverse. The blooms are large, very full, and old-fashioned in form; and release a rich and beautiful rose-and-lemon fragrance. This rose will grow a bushy 3′ – 5′ tall and is a non-recurrent bloomer.
