Hello.

In zone 6a, Ohio, there’s this girl who’s started working on her dream. She didn’t know anything about flowers so in true fashion to herself she started researching. Pretty soon she’d found Facebook groups, YouTube channels, podcasts and blogs. She proceeded to binge watch/listen whilst furiously taking notes. Summer arrives bringing all the glorious long, HOT days. She’s busy at work and on weekends there’s lake days and camping trips and parties for friends so she neglects her poor garden. She’s still dreaming tho so in July she goes to the David Austin website. Oh my god if only I could buy them all she says. She is dying to buy some roses so after a little deliberation she orders Desdemona. Golden Celebration. Benjamin Britten. as two quart pots which should arrive in Autumn. A few weeks pass she keeps thinking about this order and we’re in the world will she put them. Her small garden is full to the brim and she needs to take out more grass for these roses but she just doesn’t have the time for the soil needs to be amended also. Sadly she cancels that order. This time she makes another order with more roses but this time for spring of 2022. Alas it’s so far away. Then much to her dismay winter came. The Facebook group stops producing the daily rose diet. Now what’s an addictive supposed to do when the supply is cut off. Well there are all these websites with these GORGEOUS flowers for sale. That is when the addition started to cost. She placed another order. This time for Bliss Parfuma. Princess Charlene de Moneco. Earth Angel Parfuma. From there she decided to amend her order from David Austin. She doesn’t remember what she chose that time because in two month she amended it once again. This time for good(we hope). She choose Olivia Rose. Emily Brontë. Roald Dahl. She has 8 rose plants coming for spring. Planning must begin because Winter is here and she can do nought in the garden.
