New gardener in an old garden. I moved with my family to my hometown of Svendborg in southern Denmark in 2019. The garden is from 1935 and a bit neglected. Very long and narrow garden with midday shadow from big trees. I was bitten by the rose bug in 2015 and remain slightly obsessed. At the moment my interest is mainly in antique roses and species roses. My garden is no spray/organic and in the process of becoming "wilder" by encouraging indigenous plants to grow instead of regarding them as weeds.
