I found this lovely rose growing in the Tyler, TX rose garden. It was blooming in October, so presumably a repeat and I would guess a Polyantha by the leaves. A very lovely fragrance. A shrub rose-- probably 4 or 5 ft.
My search brought me to the possibility of Clothilde Soupert (sometimes Clotilde Soupert)?
