2021: AD is about 3 years old now, planted in May 2018 from a pot. Not so much winter kill this year compared to previous years. I haven’t been protecting roses, but this one would benefit from it.

No winter die back here in zone 5b.

While the HMF entry says USDA zone 7b, it does well for me in 5b with no protection. The rich color, long stems, and large pointed bloom of this rose are something to behold!
