This image includes the buds, showing the distinctive red coloring (which mostly disappears as the bloom opens), shows the form of open blooms, and illustrates the color fade from deep yellow newly-opened blooms to soft cream color after a day or two.
The leaves have a lovely elliptical form, and are free of fungal diseases here. They are also a very very dark dark rich green color . . . which is not true of any other Polyantha that we've ever grown here -- as they tend toward chlorosis in our alkaline conditions.
