From my central Oregon coast garden in September, 2023. In our cool coastal summer climate, the colors are a bit muted.

From my central Oregon coast garden, rescued before the oncoming rainstorm on 10/30/2024. It has been subject to several rounds of Mother's Nature's windy, rainy and cloudy fury, so the color is a bit washed out. Yet the beautiful form and luscious fragrance still prevail.

From my central Oregon coast garden is this bud of Twilight Mist. A once-bloomer in late spring, sometimes it decides to give me some early fall blooms as well. I treasure these because the color and the fragrance are so rich at that time of year. I rescued this lonely bud on 10/25/2024.

July 18, 2024 in my central Oregon coast garden. This own root rose grows tall (7 feet) and narrow (3 feet) under my cherry tree. It stays in bloom throughout the summer and fall. The color of this rose is an enchanting pinkish lavender. The fragrance is a divine sweet musk. It has become one of my favorites.
