I put roses into the ground and water them here in a little divot between the mountains of Arizona. The sun is bright, water is scarce, and freeze-thaw cycles occur for perhaps 100 days per year. Occasionally something good comes of it. I am interested in the preservation of good rose cultivars and right now I have something close to 250 different cultivars in my garden. Many classes are represented; but several of the ones featuring the word 'tea' are not present or are under-represented. My collecting impulses have led me to treasure this site, and I hope to make a meaningful contribution.
