First year plant had nice spring flush but no repeat which I found that unusual for a floribunda type. Lost the potted plant over winter. Loved the Eden like flowers so much I bought two more plants and placed directly in ground. Again no repeat and now in August of third year! Not a single bud and I’ve never seen the usual flush of new growth after the first blooms fade either. Plants just sit doing nothing. Shame, the flowers are so pretty and long lasting. Some fail to open during rainy humid weather. My plants are somewhat squat, splayed and thorny. They stay healthy enough with infrequent systemic spraying. This year is however is quite wet and I sprayed only once so blackspot struck. Can’t explain the lack of repeat and will re-evaluate their occupying centre stage if I see no change.

Cl Perle d'Or and Ravensworth (a pale yellow sport of Perle d'Or) were sent to Canada. Does anyone know if they are available there now? Can plants be sent to Europe from Canada?
Sending plants to other countries from Australia costs too much.

My plants perished (along with many others) in a “polar vortex” a few years ago. I believe a nursery on the west coast also received a plant of cl. Perle d’Or but unfortunately they’ve since closed. ????

That's a pity. It's a good rose - but you have to give it plenty of room to grow.

Even with spraying this beautiful mini always defoliated from blackspot in my s. Ontario garden. Continued to flower even when most leaves had fallen. Eventually pulled it out but have found nothing yet to match those gorgeous little blooms with their elegant buds and orderly petal arrangement.
