I grew up in California, and live in Texas, where I have been now for more than 25 years.
My mother was the gardener in the family..it is from her, that I got the 'bug' (thanks Mom!)
I love roses that smell good..so I have a lot of Noisettes and Bourbons...and I like the stripes and spots, etc. so I also love the Gallicas..some of them do well in the heat of Texas, while others have a problem..you have to try them, to find out, which ones will grow here.
