As of December 2019 this nursery is no longer in business. If you send them any money you will not get your money back and you will not get any roses.

I placed an order with a credit card and if you dispute the charge with your credit card company, you can recover your money.
The owner of this nursery, had a VERY good reputation in the rose community, but passed away and apparently no one closed out the mail order end of the website. Additionally, many of the hard-to-find roses that they carried may be gone forever.

I have had this rose for at least 6 years. It was one of the original regular roses I purchased as I used to be strictly into minis. It has been growing in a partially shady area (shade tolerant) with very little care. I am not on a strict fertilizing schedule and Honey Bouquet just carries on as a very healthy rose regardless. Very pest resistant (aphids and earwigs seem to ignore). Honey Bouquet can be surrounded by other plants suffering from rust and blackspot and for whatever reason, she is impervious. Blooms are generous in a brightly delicious butter with more of a golden honey centre. Foliage is thick and nice dark green. Fragrance is strong and delightful. Makes an excellent cut rose, easily lasting a week or more. It is BY FAR one of my all-time favourites. (One of Zary's best, I think).

Thank you for your review of Honey Bouquet. It's very helpful to hear of people's experiences with a particular rose. This one is going on the "wish list". I don't know where I'd put it at this time, but we'll see...

Got it this year and it just had it's first bloom today so may be a bit premature but it does seem the BS resistance is pretty high here as it's around quite a lot of it and unaffected (so far anyway).

maybe I spoke too soon...while it's not blackspot the plant is showing some sort of leaf disease now, possibly downy or anthracnose....something causing irregular browny green splotches.

on a tangent it's flower buds are very fuzzy/glandular, feels a bit like felt but isn't visible.

Purple Tiger and I have a love, hate relationship. It hasn't grown very well, staying quite small. When it blooms..I'm in love. When it is between blooms, I wonder why I grow it.

That's exactly how I feel about this rose. It was nice to see I'm not the only one! My mother started one from a flower someone gave me and I also bought one. Both are short and spindly, come spring they bloom their little short spindly heads off. I'm with you on this one.

This is a funny topic. I grow Purple Tiger and someone just gave me theirs, did not like it's finicky growth habits.
This is the type of rose that I forgive it's bad habits every time I get a bloom.
I adore the striped roses. So they pretty much can do no wrong.
I just baby whatever their needs are.

It's a good feeling! Knowing it's not you growing a scrappy rose. I don't know why I don't get rid of some roses that produce big, fabulous canes and leaves but I hate their flowers. Is it to make up for the scrappy ones like this? Oh, the choices we face.

I bought this rose as a tree rose. The blooms are absolutely beautiful and striking. I kept thinking I had a problem because it has never "taken off" and kind of has an unhealthy look. I would definitely recommend not getting this rose as a tree - I think it will always look like a "long twig with a head that is too small". But alas those dramatic blooms!!! Sadly, I may use it to propagate a bush and get rid of the tree.

THIS. I have one that had a few blooms last year, but lost all the leaves multiple times and smaller blooms (but, first year in the garden...).

This year, we'll see what happens. The blooms are GORGEOUS. I may go ahead and put it in a pot instead and place a bunch of annuals around to make up for the yucky leaf problems and the tiny stems!

Paradise is a vigorous grower with little care, I am growing in full afternoon sun adn it seems extremely hardy. A good beginner - disease and pest resistant. Beautiful, and I mean BEAUTIFUL blooms! Nice foliage, except when it gets very sunny and hot here in Zone 10A, leaves will have a tendency to burn. Very little to no fragrance. Great cut flower.
