Dear HelpMeFind users, I'm going to have some old French Catalogues and wanted to know if you agree to add some Rose Description in French language in the References Section. Feel free to add your Comments on this. A bientôt, AmiRoses

Yes, we are more than willing to add this information in the references section and even some information in the notes section.
Our goal is to provide information that is useful to all users of the site. The database is always a work in progress to meet this goal.
Anything that is added to the references section should be sent to me at lyn@helpmefind.com following the format, as closely as possible that we are currently using for this feature.
If you have suggestions, we are would love to know about them and see if we can accomodate you and/or include them in the site. We want to continue improving the site for all users.
Smiles,
Lyn

ClairMatin That would be a great idea Amiroses. Your contributions on HMF about roses held at l'Haÿ-les-roses is already so valuable. HMF will confirm to be THE reference. Arnold

AmiRoses and all,
I am so excited about the response to this thread! Your enthusiasm is catching. I think I might have responded too quickly when AmiRose first posted her question. Before I get buried in 500,000 emails, let's look and see how we can make this happen without having to wait for programming changes.
At this time, the software limits access to the "References" tab on a rose page just to administrators. If you were to send the information directly to me as I first suggested, the data would be entered, but I would have to work the data entry process into my already full schedule. I certainly didn't expect this kind of response and thought I would only have to deal with a few roses.
However, the Q & C tab is programmed to accept posts from site users. Can I ask you to enter the information onto the Q & C tab and I will enter a comment in the "Notes" section of the main page telling users they can find a description of the rose in French by clicking the Q & C tab? Will this work for you? Oh, and could someone tell me what to say in French to direct users to the French rose description on the Q & C tab?
Smiles,
Lyn
