Rose photo courtesy of VickyThis is the third year of this plant which was a cutting taken from a friend. The first year it was one six inch stick with a few leaves. It grows rapidly and it's been very healthy from the start.

Rose photo courtesy of VickyBingo Meidiland just coming into bloom, July 4th, 2012. Hokkaido, Japan. I put a couple of photos up of this plant in 2008 and in four years it's gotten huge. I love the flowers and the way it blooms and blooms but.... the thorns are awful. The lighter, fuller roses entangled with it are Fantin Latour.

Rose photo courtesy of VickyThis is the fifth year since planting. All the blooms in this photo are the same Fantin Latour rose. It's mingled well with Bingo Meidiland which is just about to come into bloom, but Lavinia and Wedding Day which I also wanted all tangled together have not come to much.

Rose photo courtesy of VickyI'm trying to grow it up this crab apple tree but the soil is poor and the light not so great. This is its third season but not much progress yet. Still I don't want it choking the tree, so.... It's very pretty when it gets going.
